I am proud to be running for City Council in the Elmwood-East Kildonan ward, a community that has been home to me both as a child and now again as an adult.
With more than 15 years of experience working for the City, I bring a deep understanding of how municipal services function and how they can be improved to better serve residents.
As a lifelong advocate for others, I’ve dedicated my personal and professional life to helping people navigate challenges and create better outcomes. I’m also a parent to three grown children and a proud grandparent to a toddler grandson and, like many families in our neighbourhood, I care deeply about the future we’re building together.
I’m running for Council because I see the issues that impact us every day: rising crime, persistent poverty, aging roads and sidewalks, lack of affordable housing, concerns with our public transit system, and the growing cost of living.
I believe our community deserves strong, responsive leadership that will fight for practical, compassionate solutions.
Together, we can make Elmwood-East Kildonan a safer, more affordable, and more connected place to call home.
Elmood-East-Kildonan exists on the ancestral lands and waters of the Anishinaabe, Anisininew, Ininiwak/Nehethowuk, Dakota Oyate, Dënesųłinë́ Peoples, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
We gratefully acknowledge that our water comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation and Iskatewizaagegan 39 Independent First Nation, and that our hydro power is received from Tataskweyak Cree Nation, from waterways in the north on Treaty 5 lands, and from the Winnipeg River on Treaty 3 lands.
We express our respect and gratitude to the original, traditional custodians of this land.
